Gear/Enchant Suggeestions

If you are at a point of being unsure what you should work on to improve your gear or what enchants would help you the most please ask the following officers in resgards to your class. This might have been an oversight or else is common knowledge, but in either case who do priests/shadow priests ask? Sethorian is finally getting close to the level where he should be able to start helping with raids before too long now (53 atm).

Suggestions for enchants especially are welcome, gear I'm basically aiming for high damage with him and trying to balance spirit and intelligence. Are the mp5 gear really worth it and how much do you actually need for it to be effective?

Priests typically get more MP5 from spirit especially if you have points in meditation (discipline) versus MP5.  Hit cap is very low with shadow at 76 (when speced 5/5 shadow focus) so I would stay away from +spill hit enchants.  Spell dmg for gloves and wrist are good and spirit on chest.  Vitality for boots, if you can get it.  I ground Shat'ar rep to revered for the head enchant +spell +hit. My priest is currently specced holy but I leveled her and played shadow with her for quite a while.  If you’re a tailor Frozen Shadow Weave set will do you good but it’s not necessary.  I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help! He is a tailor and just hit 300 skill so waiting to get high enough to hit outlands to keep raising it so he can make the Frozen Shadow Weave set.

Also great points on the enchants. Have little experience on them so found it very handy. Will see what I can do once I get worthwhile gear to enchant. Up to level 55 as of tonight so cruising along again though that silly vacation home slowed me for a bit (try playing on dial-up *shudder*).

Anyway, with some luck will be raiding with the rest of you soon.
